Haute Couture Week’s New-Generation Nepo Babies of Fashion

06/02/2023

As of late, we see ‘Nepo Babies’ being synonymous with the fashion industry, as models like the Hadid sisters, Kendall Jenner, Hailey Bieber and Kaia Gerber have proved that having the support of famous parents can come a very long way.

In the recent Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2023 runway shows during Paris Fashion Week, we see familiar faces like Iris Law, influencer and daughter of Jude Law, closing the Alexander Vaulthier show wearing a black figure-hugging dress with a pink tromp l’ceil sequin detailing.

Amelia Gray Hamlin, one of the new influencer faces to follow in the fashion scene and daughter of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Rinna also walked the runway of her first couture show for Jean Paul Gaultier.

Spotted, sitting in the front row and making a fashion-world debut at the Chanel S/S23 couture show was Gwyneth Paltros daughter Apple Martin.

Although the `Nepo Baby’ tag has been associated with controversial debates in the entertainment and fashion world, Fashion Week runways will not be the only place we can spot these faces as brands start to pick up on this successful marketing trend.

The Italian fashion house of GCDS that has even known to feature icons such as Dua Lipa and Amina Muaddi has added another muse to its inner circle. Nicola Peltz Beckham – American actress and daughter-in-law of Victoria and David Beckham is the face of the brand’s Spring Summer 2023 campaign. A visual representation of the eccentric brand’s Italian-born craftsmanship and unique identity.
